LENADUWZ LOKUGE RANGANA NAWODINI ARIYADASA, professional Bharatanatyam Dancer, Choreographer and Instructor in Classical Bharatanatyam from the world renowned Institite “KALAKSHETRA ” the fine Arts institute founded by Srimathi Rukmini Devi Arundale, South India..she is Also the Director of Rangana Ariyadasa Dance Academy opened in the year 2000, and is Registered under the Ministry of Cultural Department..Rangana has produced more than 400 students who learnt this art form who are residing around the globe..She has done 30 solo debutes( Arangetrams) and got the opportunity to conduct workshops in many countries..she was attached to the youth Council as a Instructress, as well as sarasavipaya, Tower foundation, Mahaweli Centre and also to the tri forces, Cultural troupe. She Choreographed the entire life story of Siddhartha the Gautham in a form of a dance Drama produced By the light of Asia Foundation and later Choreographed few scenes of the great movie Suddhartha the Gautham..in the year 2007, she joined university of the Visual and performing Arts as a visiting lecturer in Bharatanatyam and there after served as a permanent staff member too..she took part in various Talent Search programms conducted by the various National and private channels in Sri lanka, and also on Ranaviru Real star, conducted by the Defence ministry.
