Mr. Gamini Weragama has been appointed as the Chairman of State Cinema Art Advisory Board.

Mrs. Nadeeka Gunasekara has been appointed as a member of State Cinema Art Advisory Board.

Jayantha Chandrasiri is a Sri Lankan journalist, screenplay writer, television director, and filmmaker in Sri Lankan cinema. Chandrasiri's film Agnidahaya won seven golden awards and four silver awards at the Signis International Film Festival 2003. His two teledramas Dandubasnamanaya and Akala Sandhya are rated as one of Seven Iconic Teledramas In Sri Lanka's Television History.

Mr. Padmasiri Kodikara has been appointed as a member of State Cinema Art Advisory Board.

Samantha Yahampath is a student from Sri Subhodi National School in Battaramulla, Samantha joined ‘Yowun Janatha’ of Lake House as a young reporter in 1989. Later in September 1991, he joined the first staff of Daily Lankadeepa and worked as a feature writer under Mahinda Dalugodaarachchi. This year Samantha who celebrates 30 years in journalism dedicated nearly 25 years handling the arts pages of the newspaper. At present he is the longest serving editor of the arts pages of any national newspapers in Sri Lanka.He holds two Diplomas in Journalism from Colombo and Open Universities.

Mr. Aruna Gunarathne has been appointed as a member of State Cinema Art Advisory Board.

Aruna Lokuliyana steps in to the arena of Visual Media when he became the first followed by a course of Television Production and Technology conducted by the National Youth Council of Sri Lanka. “Aeshwara Winsathiya”(The Black Era) is his first Tele film that wins the OCIC ,UNDA Awards. “Ranthali” (Golden Pot) and “Mindada Gangawa”(The River of Love) are his semi documentary Films while the “Visitors at the Water’s edge” is documentary film directed by him. Meanwhile he directed the short film “We Love Football” under the theme of “Football and Culture” organized by the Berlin Talent campus in parallel to the Berlin International Film Festival. This above mentioned short film was selected among best 50’s out of 623 short films which have been represented by 90 countries in the world. Then it was selected for the best 25 films to the promotional campaigns of FIFA World cup-2006 in Berlin by the World Football Federation.

Raja Ranasinghe is known for his work on Sankranthi (2007), Bomba Saha Rosa (2013) and Goal (2018).
